After completing my BA and MA in English at Swansea University, I spent six years teaching English in senior schools across the West Midlands. I later moved into a corporate role, but eventually realised I wanted to return to working closely with language. I retrained as an editor and proofreader with the College of Media and Publishing, and now work freelance, drawing on both my academic background and classroom experience to help writers shape their ideas into crisp, confident prose that connects with readers.

 

I passed my Editing and Proofreading Course from the College of Media and Publishing with a distinction, in January 2026. Details of this can be provided on request.

 

I edit and proofread a wide range of texts quickly, carefully, and at an affordable rate. I have a particular interest in fiction and in digital content such as blog posts and web copy.
